In Indiana, you need to purchase minimum liability coverage of 25/50/10. These amounts stand for:
$25,000 bodily injury to 1 person. $50,000 bodily injuries more than one person. $10,000 property damage.According to the Indiana Department of Insurance each newly written car insurance policy must include uninsured and underinsured motorists coverages, unless you reject this in writing. The limits are:
Uninsured Motorists: Bodily Injury: $25,000/$50,000 Property Damage: $10,000 Under insured Motorists: Bodily Injury: $50,000Driving uninsured in Indiana is a Class A infraction. If you are convicted of driving without car insurance in Indiana you will be subject to a 90 day license suspension up to 1 year suspension.
