Market Moves Professional Broking
Phil Angus has been taken on to head up Marsh's financial and professional (FINPRO) national business for the northern region. Based in Manchester, Phil will oversee the strategic development and client servicing of Marsh's FINPRO business in the area. Phil moves from the Isle of Man, where he successfully led Marsh's insurance broking operations on the island for almost five years. He will report to Andrew Jackson, UK leader of FINPRO National.
Liberty International Underwriters Europe (LIU Europe) has appointed Matthew Hogg as vice president of a newly established strategic assets division. He will focus on developing and underwriting a range of specialist risks including intellectual property, reputational risks, cyber insurances and non-material damage business interruption. Matthew joined LIU Europe from Marsh where he spent two years as Europe, Middle East and Africa technology leader, establishing new business, products and engaging in client servicing.
Clive Buesnel has joined Jubilee as group chief executive. Clive was one of the founding team of Xchanging and was managing director for the insurance sector operations. In 2006, he formed Xchanging Broking Services. Lord Marland, Jubilee group chairman, said: "We are delighted that Clive is joining our management team as group CEO. He has proven business building and operational experience, which will be crucial in achieving Jubilee's strategic aims."
